Summary: in order to compose, one must know how to arrange their thoughts in a way to where both the reader and writer can understand it. In "understanding Composition," they conduct a study on how most composers use certain strategies while writing. "Felt Sense" this is where i found myself laughing, not only because it happens to me, but also because i used this in every essay i write. "to what do writers move back to?" Anne, after analyzing the data, she notices the different patterns and strategies the writers use. for instance, she notices that some writers revise or recur to their piece of work after every sentence, then there was some who wrote big chunks then went back and looked at what they wrote, but in the end, every writer has experienced or went through at least one stage in order to get their paper going. this article caught my interest because i had never noticed how odd our way of writing is. though it is odd in my opinion, it also very interesting.



Question: Have you ever experienced FELT SENSE before? in what way?



Response: As a matter of fact, i have. i love writing, i write almost every day. whether its a poem or a short story i love doing it. i found myself laughing when i read about felt sense, because i experience it all the time. i could be thinking so hard about what to write but nothing comes to my head, but the moment i stop trying so hard and go on to something else its like a wave of inspiration just crashes over my head. if i could use one Word to explain felt sense i would use the word inspiration, because really thats what it is. all of a sudden you get the inspiration to write and you take off, its what makes your paper the best it can be. if you have inspiration, you have the ability to inspire.
