Understanding Composing

Anne a NY English teacher is researching on how to understand herself when it comes to writing. It may all seem easy to write a paper but there is no such thing as perfect. Every writer has a different method of writing, whether some just write away without reading, and others that read every little of information. Many writers do not read the topic many times because of the fact, they will get new ideas. The most important part of is the felt sense, what the topic evokes around us. Most of the time writers like to image with words and pictures the title. There is one progress or a basic step in composing that skilled writers rely on paying attention to one’s inner reflections and is often accompanied with bodily sensations. This process allows anyone to write freely, even things you would’ve never written before, you would provide new ideas, and experiences. The most basic progress is paying attention. Paying attention to a topic is extremely important because once you read the ideas or experiences start to come natural to you. Another process that is important is revising what you have read. This is important because you might find misused words or extra information not needed. All writers have a different style of writing, and there is not only on way to writing. The more passion you are about a subject the better you will express about it.

Question: When you are given a topic, what is the first thing that comes to your mind, and how do you do to make it to were all readers understand your writing?

As a young writer at times I find it difficult to start writing on a topic. At times I find myself reading the topic a couple of times before actually understanding it. Once I have done that and still do not understand the topic, I ask around to see how others feel about the topic, and from there I start elaborating my own ideas. But most of the time when I read the topic I try to feel it, and simply try to experience it. I learned that is this called the felt sense. As the article mentioned about how important it is to feel it, this fact is true. It is important to relate to the topic in some way, but this does not mean to involve your personal life, sometimes it is best to just write about what you know. When it comes to my readers, I try to making it simple to them to read. As I’m writing I constantly reread what I have written. Once I am done I revise my writing and make sure it makes sense to were others understand. I also make sure they understand the message I am trying to get across by making my words clear.

  1. I agree as a young writer to try to relate to a topic to elaborate on ideas to form a good essay. I do the same by reading the topic a couple of times when I dont seem to understand it, but mostly when I'm stuck I try to write about my own experiences
